We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support to the head dispatcher and collaborate in coordinating transportation activities to ensure efficient operations. Experience with 3PL Logistics is a definite asset.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively and maintain contact with drivers, customers, and internal teams
• Utilize Truck Dispatch Software systems to schedule and track shipments
• Coordinate trucking activities to optimize delivery schedules and truck revenues
• Work with third party logistics providers to streamline operations
• Operate phone systems for incoming and outgoing calls
• Solving problems effectively as they arise

Qualifications

• Proficient in English
• Previous experience in dispatching is preferred
• Proficient in data entry and typing skills
• Knowledge of transportation and logistics industry practices
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
