Job summary

Amica Dundas is looking for a part-time Dishwasher-Cook's Helper to join the kitchen team. You will help with meal preparation and presentation while keeping all kitchen equipment clean and organized, under the Sous Chef's direction.

You will sanitize surfaces, assist with plating, and promote health and safety in line with established guidelines. Flexibility for shifts is required in a dynamic dining environment.

Qualifications

• Strong service orientation and knowledge of formal dining room service.
• Ability to prioritize and respond with urgency when required.
• Some experience in dining environments.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Keep all kitchen equipment and utensils clean and sanitized.
• Support cooks with meal preparation and presentation.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.
• Assist with cleaning of floors, walls, and storage areas.
• Assist the kitchen team to maintain fine dining standards.
