Job summary

Pursuit in Calgary is hiring for a full-time seasonal dishwasher. You will manage dishwashing duties, maintain clean kitchen areas, and support the line cook team during peak periods. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Starting wage is $18.50/hour with potential to contribute to a busy, hospitality-focused team across iconic destinations and experiences. Must pass a criminal record check as part of our high standard of service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all dishwashing needs including sorting, pre-washing, and loading dishwasher.
• Clean kitchen equipment such as sinks, stoves and fridges.
• Keep floors clean and dry at all times.
• Remove garbage and recycling to proper bins.
• Assist line cooks when not on dishwashing duties.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas and utensils.
• Support line cook team during peak periods as needed.

This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring, it will be a full time seasonal role.

Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all dishwashing needs including; sorting, pre-washing, providing pre-soak solution and bins, loading and unloading dishwasher, proper storage of flatware, glassware, plateware and kitchen utensils and cooking ware
• Clean kitchen equipment; sinks, stoves, fridges, etc
• Ensure floor is clean and dry at all times
• Remove garbage and recycling to appropriate bins when needed
• Unload pop, food and other items and carry to proper storage areas as assigned
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition
• During non -dishwashing duty periods, may be assigned to support the line cook team in any food prep or line production required
• Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events
• Other duties as assigned
