Summerhill Market in Toronto is seeking a reliable dishwasher for our Production Bakery. You’ll help wash and sanitize dishes, maintain a clean workspace, and support bakery teams to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, trays, and utensils used in production
• Maintain a clean, organized dishwashing area and sanitation zones
• Return clean equipment to production areas promptly
• Assist with general cleaning duties in the Production Bakery
• Clean floors, surfaces, sinks, and equipment as required
• Follow food safety, sanitation, chemical handling, and health procedures
• Remove garbage and manage recycling in designated areas
• Support Bakery production teams by providing clean equipment throughout the day
• Assist with additional Bakery duties as needed
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness during busy production periods

Now we’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Dishwasher to join the team at our Production Bakery. If you’re someone who takes pride in keeping things clean, organized, and running smoothly behind the scenes, this role is for you.

What you’ll do

• Wash and sanitize dishes, baking trays, sheet pans, utensils, mixing bowls, equipment, and other production tools
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient dishwashing and sanitation area
• Ensure clean equipment and tools are returned to the appropriate production areas promptly
• Assist with general cleaning and sanitation throughout the Production Bakery
• Clean floors, work surfaces, sinks, equipment, and other areas as required
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, chemical handling, and health & safety procedures
• Remove garbage, recycling, and waste and maintain designated disposal areas
• Support Bakery production teams by ensuring they have the clean equipment and tools needed throughout the day
• Assist with general Bakery duties and cleaning tasks as required
• Work efficiently during busy production periods while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization

What we’re looking for

• Reliable, punctual, and ready to work as part of a busy production team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen or bakery environment
• Able to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and regularly bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling
• Comfortable working around commercial dishwashing equipment, water, heat, and cleaning products
• Strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and workplace safety
• Able to work independently while also supporting the broader Bakery team
• Previous dishwasher, kitchen, bakery, or food-production experience is an asset but not required
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as required
