Job summary

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited in Canada is seeking a casual Dishwasher to join the Food and Beverage team. You will clean kitchen equipment, dishware, glassware and pots, and keep the kitchen area tidy to support a memorable guest experience.

The position offers a full benefits package for full-time employees, retirement savings, training opportunities, and team-oriented culture across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year of experience in hospitality or the food and beverage industry preferred.
• Food Safe Level 1 (BC) to be completed prior to start date.
• Mini Food Safety Course (Alberta) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Gains experience in the kitchen.
• Maintains cleanliness and upholds Food Safe standards.
• Organizes and supports team in janitorial needs.
• Maintains janitorial supplies stock level.
• Assists in waste management and recycling, and can transport heavy loads with assistance.
• Applies flexibility with hours, including evenings and weekends.
