Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Dishwasher to join our team in Toronto. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our kitchen by washing dishes, pots, pans, silverware, and equipment, ensuring sanitation and safety standards are met.

This entry-level position offers the opportunity to start your career in food service, with flexible hours including evenings and weekends. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, support kitchen operations, and contribute to a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic sanitation procedures.
• Ability to follow safety procedures around hazardous chemicals.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, and utensils cleaned and sanitized.
• Maintain dishwashing station, three-compartment sink and related areas cleaned.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in working condition; report any issues to management.
• Perform other light maintenance and custodial tasks.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, coworkers, etc.
• Follow Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
• Maintains dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned
• Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition; reports any issues to management
• Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
• Ensures security of company assets
