A social purpose organization is seeking a passionate support worker for their Supported Independent Living team in Cape Breton. This part-time position requires applicants to be creative and energetic, with an understanding of AUSLAN and experience working with individuals with disabilities. Joining our Supported Independent Living (SIL) team you will provide support to people with disability living in shared housing in Carlton who are looking for a support worker who is creative with daily activities and brings passion and energy to active support.
The successful candidate must have an understanding of AUSLAN and experience working with behaviours of concern.
We are seeking applications from candidates for permanent part‑time positions only. To be considered you must be able to commit to the set roster below:
Week 1: Fri 7am‑3pm
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and obtain an NDIS Clearance.
