As a Disability Manager, you will coordinate complex cases, drive return-to-work programs, and support employee wellness across diverse operating divisions. The role may be based out of either Saint John, Moncton or Fredericton locations
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education (University or College).
- At least 2–5 years’ experience in case management, medical management (e.g., occupational therapy, physiotherapy, social work, psychology), or vocational rehabilitation.
- Proven ability to coordinate and manage complex cases.
- Strong attention to detail and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of case management and return to work processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Disability Management Certification is an asset, or willingness to obtain certification.
- Bilingualism (English-French) considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of disability cases, coordinating with employees, healthcare providers, internal stakeholders, and insurers.
- Provide case management support to both employees and the business for both occupational and non-occupational disability claims.
- Develop and oversee Return to Work (RTW) programs, ensuring compliance and timely reintegration.
- Analyze case data and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Maintain detailed documentation and ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with Human Resources and Health & Safety teams to continuously improve disability management processes.
