A major financial institution in Toronto is seeking a skilled project manager to lead and develop a team responsible for delivering Personal Banking projects. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in project/program delivery and people management, demonstrating skills in mentorship and coaching. This role includes overseeing project workflows and ensuring high performance while managing risks. The successful applicant will thrive in dynamic environments and drive improvements through strategic talent management initiatives.

In this role, you will manage a team of project practitioners to deliver Personal Banking strategic project portfolio. You will assign, develop, assess, and oversee resources for end-to-end project and program delivery, ensuring business partners meet their goals and OKRs. Responsibilities include consulting, educating, coaching, and mentoring the team, while supporting RBC Leaders/Stakeholders by ensuring adherence to RBC’s delivery frameworks and Change Management principles. You will escalate and resolve risks/issues promptly, provide thought leadership, and promote execution excellence. Collaborating with the Value Office, you will track staffing demands and forecast future capacity gaps. Additionally, you will oversee succession and talent planning. As a Director, along with managing a large team, you will lead key initiatives to optimize program delivery, identify opportunities, and execute strategic plans to drive improvements.
