Fitch Ratings is seeking a Director to join our US & Canada Corporates - Utilities team in Toronto. You will evaluate corporate debt issuers and contribute high-quality, timely research to debt capital markets while leading and mentoring junior analysts.

Applicants should have extensive credit experience across fixed income, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of capital markets/credit analysis experience, with utilities knowledge.
• Strong ability to dissect complex topics and communicate clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree; MBA/CFA a plus.
• Willingness to travel and onsite work policy.

Responsabilités

• Cover a portfolio of 15–20 Electric and Gas Utilities.
• Articulate Fitch’s credit views in meetings, calls, and written research.
• Be a visible presence for external stakeholders in the ratings process.
• Participate in the evaluation of other credits within Corporates.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment in the Utilities team.
