  • Coordinate banking relationships, cash management activities and financing arrangements, including intercompany funding.
  • Oversee letter of credit monitoring and reporting in conjunction with compliance, legal, and new business teams.
  • Lead defined workstreams within treasury and drive progressive financial initiatives, including implementation and ongoing enhancement of treasury technology, process standardization, controls and reporting.
  • Support annual planning, forecasting and reporting at divisional and local entity levels, including analysis of regulatory capital, dividend capacity and capital deployment opportunities.
  • Support stress testing and scenario analysis for liquidity, capital and risk metrics, ensuring alignment with earnings forecasts and strategic priorities.
  • Support oversight of short‑term surplus assets within approved investment guidelines, balancing liquidity, risk and return objectives in collaboration with ALM and subsidiary finance teams.
  • Prepare investment reporting for the Board and Management Committees, ensuring inputs are accurate, timely and clearly communicated.
  • Develop effective working relationships across multiple locations, coach team members where applicable, and promote strong documentation, governance and continuous improvement.
What you will bring:
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or other relevant professional designation required.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in treasury, capital management, finance, accounting or financial analysis, including demonstrated leadership of cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated understanding of liquidity planning, cash flow forecasting, banking and funding arrangements, and investment oversight.
  • Knowledge of regulatory capital frameworks and risk reporting within reinsurance, insurance or financial services is considered an asset.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues, challenge assumptions, exercise sound judgment and translate findings into practical recommendations.
  • Experience with treasury management systems, financial transformation, process improvement, data visualization or systems implementation is an asset.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills, including the ability to prepare executive‑ready materials and explain technical matters clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, engage and lead teams across functions and geographies.
  • A curious and inquisitive nature, willing to challenge the status quo and drive positive change.
