Job summary

A leading dairy company in Canada seeks a Director of Strategic Sourcing to develop purchasing strategies and manage procurement for plastic categories. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in negotiations, leadership, and project management. This role offers a hybrid work model with remote flexibility. Qualifications

• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of working experience in procurement, preferably in the food industry.
• Minimum of 5 years management experience within plastic packaging categories.
• Experience in negotiating complex multi-year agreements through RFP/RFQ processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term purchasing strategies and implement short- to medium-term strategies.
• Manage global strategy and negotiation initiatives with local procurement teams.
• Lead cost and supply risks for key materials and ensure proper purchasing procedures are followed.
