Job summary

A leading global client is seeking an experienced Director SAPPresales to join their team in Toronto on a full-time permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of consultative sales experience, particularly with Fortune 2000 companies, and expertise in SAP solutions. Candidates must possess a strong understanding of performance analytics and C-Suite selling. This role involves collaborating on contract negotiations, leading responses to RFI/RFPs, and facilitating customer engagement activities.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of consultative sales experience with Fortune 2000 companies.
  • Prior financial software presales experience required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Job description

Our Global client is seeking for an experienced Director SAPPresales(SAC / Datasphere / BTP / BDC) to join their team on a full time permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15+ years of consultative sales experience with Fortune 2000 companies, ideally in SaaScomplemented with prior financial software presales experience including performance analytics, profitability analysis, allocations, FP&A, cost to serve, transfer pricing, tax, etc. Must have a proven track record of selling to the C-Suite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requires working knowledge of the SAP Solution Suite (including SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning).
  • Understand SAP Analytics offerings like Datasphere, BTP, and BDC, with the aptitude to learn more as needed.
  • Lead RFI / RFP responses, services estimates and proposals.
  • Lead or support new opportunity internal approval processes.
  • Support contract negotiations with the customer (direct or subbing) – MSA, Teaming Agreement, SOW, change requests & extensions and other related tasks
  • Support SAP with SaaS license sizing and pricing estimates.
  • Contribute to SAP PaPM, SAC Planning, BTP / BDC solution enablement and adoption, solution overviews, customer webinars and other sales related events.
  • Work with implementation project teams to identify new opportunities on existing accounts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of experience.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.
