A leading research institution based in Calgary is seeking a QHA Director to lead and oversee quantum science research initiatives. Responsibilities include strategic planning, driving knowledge in quantum science, and coordinating with partner universities. Quantum Horizons Alberta (QHA) is an Alberta-wide initiative launched in 2023 to expand foundational knowledge of quantum science and position Alberta as a global quantum research hub. QHA partners the University of Calgary, the University of Alberta, and the University of Lethbridge to recruit and support a cadre of quantum research professors, postdoctoral scholars, and graduate students.
