The Senior Product Manager - Value-Added Services (VAS) is accountable for developing and executing the portfolio of adjacent value-added products and services that complement core broadband and wireless offerings. The Senior Product Manager leads the end-to-end product lifecycle - from market opportunity assessment and partner selection to development, launch, and performance optimization - ensuring VAS offerings are strategically aligned, commercially viable, and operationally scalable.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Define and execute the Value-Added Services strategy and roadmap, aligned with broadband core product strategies.
  • Identify emerging customer needs and technology trends to shape new product concepts.
  • Lead end-to-end product development across concept, business case, design, testing, and launch.
  • Partner with Technology, Operations, and Digital teams to ensure seamless customer experience and backend integration (billing, CRM, provisioning).
  • Manage ongoing optimization through performance analytics and customer feedback loops.
  • Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships with third-party vendors, OTT providers, and technology partners
  • Lead contract structuring, go-to-market alignment, and joint business planning with partners.
  • Ensure partner solutions integrate effectively within the company’s network and digital ecosystem.
  • Develop business cases for new VAS opportunities, including revenue potential, ARPU uplift, and ROI.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Strategy teams on investment prioritization and performance tracking.
  • Ensure new services enhance the broadband customer experience, driving satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor customer adoption, retention, and service quality metrics to guide product evolution.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Technology, Operations, and Finance.
  • Represent the VAS portfolio at executive governance forums and strategy reviews.
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Engineering, or B.A. in Business, or Commerce Degree
  • Strong Product Management background
  • Well developed financial modeling, business case development, and P&L management skills
  • Understanding of Canadian internet and the telecommunications market
  • 5-10 years of progressive experience in telecom or digital product management, with at least 5 years in value-added or digital services.
  • Proven experience in developing consumer digital services
  • Understanding of telecom infrastructure, digital platforms, and ecosystem integration.
  • Project management requirements-setting experience; including budgeting, planning, and time-management.
  • Strong presentation, communication and collaboration skills and track record
