$136,850 - $185,150 As we continue to evolve our strategy to support the Canadian agriculture and food industry and fulfill our legislative mandate, the importance of operational resilience grows in parallel, ensuring we can withstand, adapt to and recover from disruptions while maintaining continuity of critical operations.

What you’ll do:
  • Establish and implement frameworks, policies, strategies and practices for operational resiliency risk management
  • Enable FCC’s enterprise-wide operational resiliency program, ensuring the organization is prepared to respond to and recover from business disruptions
  • Lead the development, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the incident and crisis management frameworks and protocols, establishing clear roles and accountabilities
  • Develop a protocol used to declare a crisis that outlines how to manage through an incident or crisis
  • Partner with senior leaders to embed risk awareness into strategic decision‑making and foster a strong risk culture
  • Provide strategic guidance on operational resiliency, business continuity, incident and crisis management, and third‑party risk management best practices, regulatory compliance, and governance frameworks
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing team focused on delivering results in alignment with strategic objectives

What you’ll need:
  • A bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in commerce, computer science or business administration, and/or a risk management certification and at least 10 years of progressive experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Experience developing and implementing strategic plans and organizational strategies
  • Expertise in technology and information risk management, with an understanding of industry trends, technologies and methodologies
