About the Opportunity

On behalf of one of LRO’s premiere clients, we are recruiting for an organizational development leadership professional. Reporting to the Vice President HR Strategy, the Director Organizational Development is responsible for overseeing the direction of the corporations’ organizational development programs, both as a strategic leader and through the efforts of several direct reports.

Duties include but are not limited to :

  • Work in collaboration with the V.P. HR Strategy to define organizational development priorities, aligned with the needs of the business
  • Develop and refine programs in the key areas of organizational development including Performance Management, Leadership Development, Succession Planning and Talent Identification and Coaching
  • Lead and mentor a team responsible for developing and managing these programs, with support for the tools necessary to execute
  • Work effectively with senior leaders on identifying critical roles to map out potential succession plans

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to refine and enhance existing programs

About You

The successful candidate will have the following :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field
  • A minimum of seven to ten years of relevant experience in HR with preference given to those in a dedicated leadership role managing organizational development programs
  • Demonstrated track record of leading multi‑year strategic organizational initiatives
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal in both official languages

Proven strategic leadership experience together with managing external partners

About the Job

This position is a full‑time permanent position, offering a salary range of $130K-$170K commensurate with experience together with a comprehensive benefits package, paid for by the corporation and including a retirement component. This client offers a hybrid work environment (3 days / week in office) conveniently located in the downtown core.
