We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Operations, Disability Management Services to lead, optimize and scale disability management operations across Canada. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Employer Services, this role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional service delivery, business growth, and operational excellence nationwide.This role is ideal for someone who understands how to run efficient day to day operations and how to design the systems, processes and culture that sustain long-term success.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead and manage national disability management operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
  • Oversee service delivery for key accounts, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and compliance with regulatory requirements and contract commitments.
  • Provide leadership and direction to regional team leads across Canada, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work culture.
  • Manage the full spectrum of disability services
  • Drive business planning initiatives, focusing on strategic growth, operational consolidation, and service innovation.
  • Ensure financial targets are met by managing budgets, improving efficiencies, and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Lead operational transformation initiatives such as workflow redesign, establishing processes, improving automation, technology adoption and role alignment.
  • Design and implement workforce models that align capacity, capabilities and service delivery needs.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and senior leadership.
What we’re looking for:
  • Minimum of 8 years progressive experience in operations, service delivery, or business transformation ideally in insurance, health or disability management
  • At least 3 years in a senior leadership or director-level role.
  • Proven success building or scaling an operations function, such as designing workflows, establishing KPIs, implementing systems, or leading large-scale change initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience managing national teams and leading complex service delivery models.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Degree in nursing, health or equivalent disability management experience
  • Knowledge of case management, disability or healthcare operations is a strong asset
  • Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
