A valid G-class driver's license and the ability to perform physical tasks are also required.

Qualifications

  • Valid G-class driver's license (Ontario).
  • Ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 lbs.

Director of Manufacturing - Production Department

Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of single zone HVAC equipment.! They are an original manufacturer of heating and cooling equipment for the North American School and Lodging Markets. This on-site role involves providing leadership and direction to the production team!

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing and working with the production department teams.
  • Ensuring workflow and advancement of quality standards, product delivery, company compliance standards etc.
  • Working closely with engineering, sales, and accounting departments and supervision of production staff.
Qualifications
  • Education: Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field.
  • Experience: In 5 years of experience in a leadership role managing manufacturing teams.
  • Skills: Experience with ERP systems (visual manufacturing), Understanding and ability to train manufacturing systems (use of LEAN) and quality assurance programs, People and Management skills, Organization and Problem solving skills etc.
Additional Requirements
  • Valid G-class driver’s license (Ontario).
  • Ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
  • Travel required (North America - Less than 5%)
