Position Overview

We are recruiting an ag industry expert to become the Western Canada Director of Government Affairs and Stakeholder Relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and identify strategic ways to address regulatory and science policy issues.
  • Maintain and engage a strong network of stakeholders, provincial government officials and regulators.
  • Work closely with the team, association members and industry stakeholders in Western Canada to advance the sector's priorities.
Qualifications

Leader passionate about agriculture and knowledgeable about plant science industry. Proven track record of collaboration, leading and executing projects. Exceptional communication, networking, intelligence gathering. Strategic thinker at policy development level.

Preference

Preference for candidates well established and connected in Agriculture community in Western Canada.
