Job summary

Flair Airlines is seeking a Director, Dispatch to lead the Flight Dispatch team at our Toronto (YYZ) campus. You will drive safe, compliant, and efficient dispatch operations, guiding staffing, training, tools, and processes across the function.

The role emphasizes operational performance, cost management, and continuous improvement, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to sustain network reliability and on‑time performance.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in aviation or related field; preferred.
• Flight Dispatcher Certificate per CARs requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership to the Flight Dispatch department.
• Ensure safety, compliance and efficiency in dispatch operations.
• Oversee development and maintenance of dispatch manuals and procedures.
• Lead and mentor Dispatch team in 24/7 operations.
• Forecast staffing needs based on fleet growth and schedules.
• Drive fuel efficiency initiatives and cost management.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize network performance.
• Represent the company at industry conferences and vendor meetings.
