Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation.
• 7+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including 3+ in a controller or equivalent lead role.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards (ASPE or IFRS) and financial controls.
• Experience managing multiple entities or locations, including CAD and USD transactions.
• Working knowledge of HST/GST, payroll, and corporate tax requirements.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Experience with accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage).

About This Role

ClinSurge Research is a network of independent clinical research sites running trials in cardiometabolic and primary care. We're looking for a Director of Finance / Controller to take ownership of finance across all of our sites.

You'll keep the books accurate, make sure sponsors and CROs are invoiced on time and in full, and give leadership numbers they can use to decide which studies to take on. The role starts hands-on. As the team grows, so does the scope.

What We're Looking For

• Experience preparing SR&ED claims
