Overview

The Opportunity :

We are seeking a Director of Finance to join a leading real estate organization in Vancouver, BC. In this pivotal role, you will support the company’s strategic initiatives by underwriting, analyzing, and monitoring real estate projects. This position will emphasize financial planning & analysis (FP&A) , strategic financial modelling, cash flow forecasting, and investment reporting. Your insights will be key in preparing investment memos and presentations to drive informed decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Lead FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial models and cash flow forecasts to support project evaluations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to produce strategic insights for ongoing and new projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, investors, and partners.
  • Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for executive leadership and investors.
  • Assist in strategic planning and guide decision-making processes for real estate development projects.
Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of experience in finance, with a focus on real estate or construction industries.
  • Professional designation preferred (CPA or CFA).
  • Proven experience in financial modelling, cash flow analysis, and FP&A.
