Job summary

Xiphos Systems Corporation in Montreal is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead a multidisciplinary engineering organization across hardware, software, logic, and test teams. You will build leadership, enable predictable execution, and convert priorities into credible, resourced plans with clear ownership and delivery expectations.

You will partner with CTO, Product Management, and Project Management to protect priorities, resolve resource conflicts, and drive continuous process improvement

Qualifications

• 15+ years in complex hardware/software product development.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering organizations.
• Bachelor of Engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• Bilingual in French and English.
• Ability to obtain Canadian security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering team and team leads with mentorship.
• Ensure hardware, software, logic, and test teams have resources.
• Promote cross-functional communication and collaboration.
• Maintain data tools and processes for accessible information.
• Deliver repeatable development plans with clear outcomes.
