Index Exchange, Inc. is seeking a Director, Exchange Platform to lead the operation, innovation, and invention of the exchange platform, guiding a world-class team in an engineering-first culture.

You will shape performance and latency strategies, drive architectural decisions, and ensure high-quality, scalable solutions across multi-disciplinary groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.
• Demonstrated history leading large-scale, low-latency distributed platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define the roadmap for performance profiling, tooling, optimization, and latency reduction across the exchange platform.
• Lead and mentor a world-class engineering team to drive performance and latency improvements.
• Design and shepherd all performance-critical services and pipelines from inception to deployment.
