Key Responsibilities

Set the vision and strategic direction for the engineering department, ensuring alignment with broader company goals. Lead the growth and development of a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to support company-wide initiatives, ensuring engineering projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. Drive innovation by championing modern engineering practices and sustainable technologies that improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
Ensure all engineering work complies with industry codes, safety regulations, and internal quality standards. Support mentorship and career development within the team, and lead continuous improvement efforts to optimize workflows, boost productivity, and enhance operational performance.

Qualifications

As the ideal candidate you are P.Eng., Civil or a CET (Certified Engineering Technologist) have 10+ years of progressive engineering experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in modular construction, manufacturing, or large-scale building projects is highly desirable.
You bring a successful track record of managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering complex projects. You’re a strategic thinker who can align technical efforts with business priorities, and you have a deep understanding of engineering principles, building codes, and design tools like Revit, AutoCAD, or BIM.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills are essential, along with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
