Job summary

Leclerc, a family-owned biscuits company, seeks a Director of Corporate Projects to establish and deploy corporate standards across Canadian and U.S. plants for production-line projects.

Reporting to the VP, Projects and Logistics, you will ensure compliance, quality, safety and timelines while supporting internal teams and stakeholders. You will lead a team of Corporate Project Managers, coach engineers, and drive capital expenditure planning across plants in Canada and the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing large-scale projects.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Rigorous, structured, and autonomous work style.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate corporate projects related to production and line development (new lines, modifications).
• Oversee installation projects to ensure delivery within quality, safety, and timeline requirements.
• Support manufacturing plants in the development and execution of annual CAPEX plans.
• Provide project follow-ups with internal clients and cross-functional departments.
• Manage and prioritize requests from internal teams.
• Ensure all work under your responsibility is executed safely.
• Establish and enforce common standards across Canadian and U.S. plants.
• Lead and manage a team of Corporate Project Managers.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to newly hired engineers across corporate and plant operations.
