A local nonprofit organization in Halifax is seeking a Director of Capital Campaign to lead their fundraising efforts for a transformative housing project. For more than 35 years, Phoenix has been dedicated to supporting youth and their families through a range of programs and services designed to break cycles of homelessness and help young people thrive. Rooted in compassion, respect, and social justice, Phoenix provides vital housing, education, and employment support to youth in Halifax and beyond.
This is a four-year term position with the potential for extension, focused on leading the Capital Campaign for Phoenix’s Multi-Service Housing Centre (MSHC) Project, a transformative initiative that will strengthen Phoenix’s impact in the community for generations to come.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Capital Campaign will lead and manage all fundraising efforts in support of the MSHC Project. As a member of Phoenix’s Executive Team, this role plays a pivotal part in shaping organizational strategy, policy, and financial planning. This position is dedicated exclusively to leading the capital campaign and operates independently from Phoenix’s ongoing annual fundraising activities that support the agency’s general operations.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, relationship-driven leader with a proven record in major gift fundraising, campaign management, and community engagement.
