A leading financial services firm in Toronto is seeking a Director of Institutional Client Management. This role demands bilingual proficiency in French and English, with a focus on maintaining client relationships and conducting investment reviews. The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in the financial sector, along with a strong expertise in investment management. The Institutional Distribution business provides a comprehensive range of flexible, high-quality solutions for Canadian institutional plan sponsors and their plan members. Through our team of sales, relationship management and consultant relations professionals, Institutional Distribution offers solutions for corporate and public defined benefit and defined contribution pension plans, endowments and foundations that cover major and specialized asset classes.
The Director, Institutional Client Management will be responsible for the investment servicing, retention, and cross-selling to primarily defined contribution clients in Canada. Maintain and deepen relationships with senior executives, investment staff, and Investment Committees at the client level and investment consultants. Using extensive technical knowledge of investments, operations, and the capital markets, keep clients informed on Fidelity’s investment capabilities and strategies and help build Fidelity’s brand awareness and reputation in the market. Identify new sales opportunities and create solutions with existing clients.
The role is based in Toronto and will require approximately 15% travel, primarily across Canada but also occasionally the United States.
You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement.
