Job summary

Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada is seeking a Director, Health Policy & Systems for Saskatchewan. The role leads policy advocacy, stakeholder engagement and health-system improvements across provincial priorities.

Hybrid work with travel to Regina/Saskatoon, and occasional remote collaboration with national teams. The role requires senior-level experience in health policy, government relations and program leadership, with a focus on equity and engagement with PWLE and coalitions.

Qualifications

• University degree with a focus on health policy, health administration or health systems.
• Graduate degree preferred and project management designation a plus.
• Experience advocating with government and non-profits is expected.
• Strong collaboration and leadership across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead provincial advocacy priorities and health equity initiatives.
• Build relationships with government officials, agencies and NGOs.
• Provide strategic leadership for health policy and systems change.
• Collaborate with national teams on donor and program initiatives.
• Engage stakeholders and participate in advisory boards as needed.
