What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the primary contact point on the derivatives side for a range of government debt issuers, including global SSA and Canadian public sector entities, supporting both capital markets activities and broader institutional relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders across global offices to deliver derivative-based solutions as part of new issue recommendations and internal asset-liability management (ALM) strategies.
  • Partner with sales and trading teams—within compliance boundaries—to provide market updates, insights, and research as needed.
  • Cultivate and expand client relationships, while identifying cross-selling opportunities across other product areas and business lines.
  • Foster a high-performance culture by implementing a people strategy that attracts, retains, and develops top talent. Promote an inclusive work environment, apply a coaching mindset, and lead succession and development planning for the team.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree required; CFA or MBA is considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in derivatives, public sector coverage, or related capital markets roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of derivative instruments and their application in public sector funding.
  • Strong understanding of SSA and Canadian public sector issuer profiles, funding programs, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with familiarity in risk systems and pricing tools.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and navigate complex organizational structures.
Work Arrangement

This position is currently an on-site role, with the expectation that you will work 5 days a week in the office. Please note that this is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
