What You Will Do

Reporting to the Executive Director of Strategy, Planning and Solutions Services, the Director of ERP Solution Services serves as a key member of the ERP leadership team under the strategic direction of the ERP Business Solution. This role you will collaborate closely with both business and technology partners including Business Functional Owners, Stream Leads, Architects, Analysts, Developers, Subject Matter Experts and the System Implementation Partner. You will actively participate with these stakeholders in leading project planning & implementation activities.

You will also be responsible for a team of technical and solution support professionals who provide program operations support. You will design and implement an operating model to better serve program clients.

In This Role You Will
  • Lead and inspire a team of over 50 employees and consultants, coordinating priorities and cultivating a positive high‑performance culture.
  • Manage a team budget and produce quarterly financial forecasts.
  • Plan HR needs in alignment with project schedule and activities.
  • Lead the technology delivery stream of the ERP business transformation initiative, overseeing solution architecture, system integration and testing activities across a series of iterative releases organized by business functionality and client groups.
  • Ensure team members are equipped with the knowledge, tools and support needed to succeed, including facilitating effective knowledge transfer from the implementation partner.
  • Manage client relationships to build trust, address needs and deliver exceptional outcomes.
  • Collaborate with GNB business leadership partners and subject matter experts to shape ERP strategy.
  • Build strategic partnerships across government and industry to align ERP technologies with evolving organizational needs.
  • Break down silos to create unified approaches to ERP implementations and releases.

Essential Qualifications

A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another related discipline and a minimum of seven (7) years of related experience with exposure to multiple diverse technologies and processing environments; OR a two‑year College Diploma in a related discipline with a minimum of ten (10) years related experience with exposure to multiple diverse technologies and processing environments. Subject to the response to this competition an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Asset Qualifications
  • Experience with SaaS or PaaS solutions or technologies.
  • Experience in assessing the impacts and risks of customization and configuration to support long‑term system and business process sustainability within a SaaS application.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud SaaS.
Operational Requirements

This position requires flexibility in working hours which includes some work during evenings and weekends and also requires the successful candidate to carry a cell phone to be on call outside of normal work hours. On occasion some travel throughout the province will be required; therefore candidates must possess a valid New Brunswick driver’s licence. Candidates will be required to undergo Criminal History Clearance prior to appointment.

Salary

$109,642 - $123,500 annually. Pay Band 8 – Management and Non‑Union Pay Plan.
