Job summary

Renfrew County and District Health Unit in Pembroke, Ontario is seeking a Director of Corporate Services to lead finance, HR and IT, and to advance high-quality public health programs. As a member of the senior leadership team, you will translate strategic priorities into practical plans, coach teams, and ensure prudent stewardship of resources.

You will foster collaboration across functions, drive continuous improvement, and partner with funders to support organizational goals and community

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in business administration, commerce, or related field.
• CPA designation.
• Eight to ten years of progressive management experience.
• Senior-level experience in finance, HR, labour relations, and information technology.
• Experience preparing financial reports, budgets, and recommendations for senior leadership and/or Board.
• Experience in health care, public-sector, or not-for-profit environment preferred.
• Proficiency with Sage and Microsoft 365, including SharePoint; advanced Sage preferred.

Overview:

The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is seeking an experienced Director, Corporate Services to join our senior leadership team. RCDHU proudly serves the County of Renfrew, the City of Pembroke, and the Township of South Algonquin, delivering programs and services that protect and promote the health and well-being of our communities.

Duties:

As a key member of the senior team, the Director, Corporate Services provides hands‑on oversight of finance, human resources and information technology, while fostering a culture of excellence that supports the delivery of high-quality public health programs and services at RCDHU.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Post-secondary degree in business administration, commerce, or a related field.
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Eight to ten years of progressive management experience, preferably with responsibility for multiple corporate service functions.
• Senior-level experience in finance, human resources, labour relations, collective bargaining, and information technology.
• Experience preparing and presenting financial reports, budgets, and recommendations for senior leadership and/or Board of Directors.
• Experience working in a health care, public-sector, or not-for-profit environment is preferred.
• Proficiency with Sage and Microsoft 365 suite, including SharePoint. Advanced Sage experience is preferred.

Salary:

Current salary range is $133,436 – $153,274 plus a comprehensive pension and benefits package. This range is under review and may be adjusted.
