We’re looking for a Director, Corporate Claims Quality Assurance & Training (SGI CANADA) to join our team and take the lead in delivering top‑notch Corporate Claims quality assurance program, claims training program and continuous improvement framework for SGI CANADA (SGIC) claims.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a Quality Assurance framework aligned with corporate goals.
  • Lead independent claims audits, establish KPIs/KQIs, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee claims training programs, collaborating with HR and technical teams.
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide strategic oversight on internal controls, risk management, and governance.
  • Build a high‑performing team and champion leadership development across SGI CANADA.
  • Prepare budgets, monitor risks, and develop processes that set the standard in the industry.
  • Mentor and develop your team, building future leaders and fostering a culture of accountability and success.
Qualifications
  • A four‑year degree in Business, Mathematics & Applied Science, or Social Services.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience, including 6 years of leadership and 4 years in claims.
  • Expertise in QA methodologies, process improvement, and project management.
  • A proven track record of collaboration, innovation, leading change, analyzing data, and delivering strategic insights.
  • Outstanding communication, decision‑making, and relationship‑building skills.
