AMETEK Inc. in Levis, Quebec, is seeking a Director, Business Innovation to translate strategic priorities into a structured portfolio of high-value initiatives across data, automation, and AI.

You will lead cross-functional teams, define the innovation roadmap, and ensure adoption and measurable benefits. You will collaborate with FARO CREAFORM and global partners to improve data governance, BI capabilities, and operating models while delivering tangible business impact and value.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, Technology, Data, or a related field.
• Significant experience in organizational transformation, process improvement, business intelligence, automation, digital transformation, or AI.
• Proven experience leading teams and strategic initiatives within complex or multi-site environments.
• Strong understanding of data governance, BI, process improvement, and automation.

As Director, Business Innovation at FARO CREAFORM, you will play a key role in transforming the organization by leading initiatives focused on process improvement, automation, artificial intelligence, data, and operational excellence.

You will be responsible for translating business vision into a structured portfolio of high-value initiatives while ensuring adoption, execution, and benefits realization. Working closely with teams acrossFARO CREAFORM, you will help improve business processes, data management, decision-mak­ing tools, and ways of working throughout the organization.

What you'll do as our new Director, Business Innovation:

Strategy and Portfolio Management

• Define and execute the business innovation roadmap
• Lead the portfolio of initiatives from prioritization through benefits realization
• Monitor performance, risks, and resource allocation
• Provide portfolio updates and strategic recommendations to leadership

Data and Business Intelligence

• Advance data governance and data quality practices across the organization
• Improve access to business information and business intelligence solutions
• Establish sustainable data standards in collaboration with key stakeholders

Process Improvement

• Identify and implement opportunities to simplify and optimize business processes
• Deploy continuous improvement methods, tools, and best practices
• Support the adoption of new ways of working

Automation and Artificial Intelligence (AI)

• Identify high-impact automation and artificial intelligence opportunities
• Lead the experimentation, deployment, and adoption of innovative solutions
• Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure sustainable implementation

Business Transformation

• Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives
• Define success measures, adoption plans, and benefits-tracking mechanisms
• Assess outcomes and recommend adjustments as needed

Leadership and Team Development

• Lead and develop the Business Innovation team
• Strengthen organizational capabilities in continuous improvement, data, BI, automation, and AI
• Mobilize leaders and key stakeholders around business priorities

What we're looking for in our new Director, Business Innovation:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, Technology, Data, or a related field
• Significant experience in organizational transformation, process improvement, business intelligence, automation, digital transformation, or artificial intelligence
• Proven experience leading teams and strategic initiatives within a complex or multi-site environment
• Strong understanding of data governance, business intelligence, process improvement, and business-process automation
• Experience establishing governance frameworks, performance management practices, and benefits realization processes
• Recognized for strong business acumen, influence, and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to translate strategic vision into actionable plans and measurable outcomes
• Fluent in French and English; frequent interactions take place with international colleagues, partners, and teams acrossFARO CREAFORM

Compensation

Currency: CAD

Salary Minimum: 130,000

Salary Maximum: 225,000
