Director, Brand Marketing & Strategy (12-Month Contract)
The Impact You'll Make:

We’re looking for a Director of Brand Marketing & Strategy to join our Control Brand team for a 12-month contract. You’ll lead strategy and execution for some of Canada’s most iconic and beloved brands - President’s Choice®, PC Masterbrand and no name®. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of some of Canada’s most trusted brands while leading a passionate team in a culture that values innovation, inclusivity, and impact.

What You’ll Do:
  • Guide brand strategy: Develop and execute seasonal, data-informed marketing strategies that strengthen brand health, deepen consumer affinity, and drive growth.
  • Champion collaboration: Partner with business leads across divisions, insights, loyalty (PC Optimum), and retail operations to deliver integrated campaigns and key strategic initiatives.
  • Inspire great work: Lead a talented, diverse team - fostering an environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and innovation.
  • Drive omnichannel excellence: Guide the development of campaigns that connect traditional and digital touchpoints, bringing our brands to life across media and in over 350 stores nationwide.
  • Leverage loyalty: Collaborate with the PC Optimum team to grow control brand loyalty and engagement through app traffic, personalized journeys, and optimized customer experiences.
  • Measure what matters: Oversee analytics in partnership with enterprise and business teams to define KPIs, monitor performance, and inform business decisions.
  • Champion inclusion: Build a workplace where everyone feels valued, included, and empowered to contribute their best.
What You Bring
  • 10+ years in marketing strategy and execution, including 2–3 years of leadership experience managing cross‑functional teamsProven ability to connect traditional and digital marketing in cohesive omnichannel strategies
  • Strong experience in brand marketing, driving brand affinity and consumer connection
  • Skilled collaborator with a solution‑oriented mindset and a passion for innovation
  • Experience managing budgets and adapting plans in fast‑paced, dynamic environments
  • Excellent leadership skills – able to inspire, mentor, and guide high‑performing teams
