Base salary range: $110,000 – $120,000 per year.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and optimize the entire manufacturing process, driving efficiency and quality.
- Develop leadership skills while working closely with cross‑functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Lead key initiatives implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvements to enhance operations.
- Make a tangible impact by leading high‑visibility projects and contributing to the plant’s strategic goals.
- Manage daily plant operations, ensuring production schedules and customer expectations are met.
- Assign workers and support staff based on production demands and equipment availability.
- Lead and direct staff performance, conduct regular reviews, and implement continuous training programs.
- Work closely with the Plant Manager, Supply Chain Manager, and Technical Services Manager to ensure seamless operations.
- Lead process improvement initiatives across all phases of production.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are met and proactively address risks.
- Integrate plant safety systems into the workflow and maintain high safety standards.
- Conduct incident investigations using structured tools such as 5‑Why analysis.
- Work alongside the Quality Manager to maintain high production standards.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Make strategic decisions on overtime, staffing, and resource allocation.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team, including Production Supervisors, Team Leads, and CNC Programmers.
- Foster a culture of positive employee relations, accountability, and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a pertinent field or equivalent experience required.
- Bilingual French and English proficiency required.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of production processes, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Knowledge of Environment, Health & Safety rules and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
Differentiation
- A bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Operations Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑shift production teams in a high‑speed, results‑driven environment.
- A strong track record of delivering cost savings, boosting efficiency, and achieving measurable improvements.
- Expertise in continuous improvement methodologies, KPI monitoring, and team performance optimization.

Education and Experience
Technical CEGEP Diploma in a related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience required.
