Summary of job description
  • Lead a team of fatigue and damage tolerance engineers through certification/validation and production/commissioning
  • Manage and mentor fatigue and damage tolerance engineers to ensure an engaged and competent milestone-focused team
  • Coordination of certification activities with the relevant Certification Delegate(s) • Manage the completion of fatigue and damage tolerance analyses and reports
  • Composite repair program development and planning
  • Planning and execution of post-TC testing and analysis activities
  • Work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams to maintain and refine cross-functional interfaces with other TPIs in the program, the certification team, testing and manufacturing organizations, and external suppliers and customers
  • Manage and provide updates on the IPT schedule, cost estimates, risks and staffing requirements
  • Personnel management of activities such as conducting performance reviews, approving workforce, approving travel, and posting/filling job applications based on resource requests
Minimum required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical, aerospace or related engineering field required.
  • Job Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in structural analysis
  • Proven leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Strong written and verbal skills to communicate effectively with management and customers.
  • Preferred Skills
  • Experience as a technical manager or supervisor preferred
  • Effective analytical problem-solving skills
  • Able to learn and work with software tools
  • Experience with repairs and composite structures
  • Experience in fatigue analysis
