About the role

The Direct Support Worker is responsible to the Primary Direct Support on shift for guidance and direction, and reports to the Program Manager. The Direct Support Worker provides support and assistance to individuals that promotes their independence and is person centered.

Wage
  • $23.84 to 27.17 hourly
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in the social services field, such as a DSW/PSW or enrolled in a related college or university program is preferred. OR Related experience working with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
  • CPR, Emergency First Aid, NVCI
  • G license required
  • Experience supporting individuals with Dual Diagnosis, Mental Health & Addictions would be an asset

  • Ability to contribute to a safe environment for co-workers and clients.
