Job summary

Amica Aurora Promenade in York Region is hiring a Dining Room Server for a full-time role from 6:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday. You will provide dining services to residents and guests, delivering a refined dining experience with consistency and hospitality.

Ideal candidates will have previous hotel fine dining experience, familiarity with white linen service, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel experience in a fine dining property
• Experience with white linen service considered an asset
• Strong service orientation with knowledge of formal dining room service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
• Willingness to obtain Smart Serve or other approved alcohol service certificate if necessary
• Willingness to obtain Food Handler's Certificate if necessary

How do I qualify?

• Previous hotel experience in a fine dining property

• Strong service orientation with demonstrated knowledge of all types of formal dining room service
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability in dealing with the public, using tact and discretion
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and respond with a sense of urgency when required
• Would be willing to obtain Smart Serve or other approved alcohol service certificate if necessary
• Would be willing to obtain Food Handler's Certificate if necessary
