CBC/Radio-Canada is seeking a Digital Reporter-Editor for French Services on-site in Regina. The role requires a university degree or equivalent and three years of field reporting experience.

Strong reporting and interviewing skills, plus fluency in French and working knowledge of English, are essential. You will cover a range of stories, deliver live reports, and collaborate across teams in a dynamic public-broadcast environment.

This role requires full-time on-site presence.

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• University degree or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of directly related experience demonstrating proven field reporting skills and knowledge of the broadcasting industry.
• Excellent reporting and interviewing skills.
• Comfortable delivering live reports.
• Advanced French-language proficiency in speaking, writing and reading (CCC).
• Intermediate English-language proficiency in speaking, writing and reading (BBB).
• Knowledge of issues affecting the Francophone community and Saskatchewan in general.
• Knowledge of CBC/Radio-Canada’s journalistic and programming policies (please refer to our website).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends when required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Experience managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Understanding of the role and responsibilities of a public broadcaster.
• Valid driver's licence and a driving record that meets CBC/Radio-Canada’s insurance requirements.
• Asset: Familiarity with newsroom tools such as iNews, Dalet and MediaCentral.
