Staples Canada in Winnipeg is seeking a print production assistant to help meet quality standards in the print department, processing customer orders accurately from entry to completion, and ensuring profitability through high-quality service.

You will work with the team to complete orders on time, operate print and finishing equipment safely, and follow all safety protocols. High school preferred, 1–2 years in print production encouraged, and basic computer skills are expected.

• 1-2 Years in print production environment.
• Working towards or successful completion of high school is preferred.
• Demonstrate skills with computers and Microsoft software applications would be an asset.
• Demonstrate technical capability and knowledge working with print and finishing equipment.
• Can engage appropriately and work as part of a team.

• Executes production tasks such as processing customer orders in an efficient, accurate manner and paying close attention to detail and instructions, and follow proper production procedures (set up, quality control, and finishing).

• Responsible for the safe and proper use of all store equipment and are required to inform management of any maintenance issues regarding the equipment.
