Job summary

Staples in Laval is seeking a print production assistant to manage orders from entry to completion, ensuring accuracy and quality in every job. You will operate printing and finishing equipment, follow production procedures, and cooperate with the team to meet deadlines.

The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and effective use of computers. Previous print shop experience is valued, and a high school diploma or ongoing studies is preferred. Training on Staples processes will be provided.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in print production environment.
• Working towards or successful completion of high school is preferred.
• Demonstrate skills with computers and Microsoft software applications would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Executes production tasks such as processing customer orders in an efficient, accurate manner and paying close attention to detail and instructions, and follow proper production procedures (set up, quality control, and finishing).
• Collaborates with team members to ensure all orders are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Responsible to deliver assigned jobs on time with a high level of accuracy.
• Responsible for the safe and proper use of all store equipment and are required to inform management of any maintenance issues regarding the equipment.
• Promotes and maintains a safe working environment and follows all company protocols for safety and is required to report any unsafe working conditions to a manager.
