Job summary

Reporting to the Marketing Manager the Digital Content Coordinator will develop social media content strategize digital marketing campaigns and optimize target audience outreach. This role will manage the creation of interesting and relevant content across all major social channels while always leveraging best practices to drive both organic and paid engagement. The specialist will write and execute marketing content across multiple platforms and develop and implement various day‑to‑day internal and external communications that enhance the brand and its services.

Roles and responsibilities
  • Develop, produce and schedule engaging social media content (written, video and photo).
  • Review analytics and create reports of key metrics on a monthly basis.
  • Contribute to improving social media strategies and tactics by staying up to date on best practices.
  • Implement paid and organic strategy with continued focus to drive key metrics.
  • Actively manage response policy for online engagement.
  • Responsible for the creation of a monthly LinkedIn Newsletter.
  • Manage the Chandos social media brand ambassador program.
  • Responsible for the creation of new content pages and the continuous improvement of existing content.
  • Ownership of implementing SEO keywords and alt tag words.
  • Inventory existing content to identify gaps and assess creative content requirements needed to ensure an inspiring online experience.
  • Ownership of Google Analytics, Google Business, and Google account management.
  • UTM code tracking implementation and reporting.
  • Creatively look for opportunities to improve content and user experience through data‑driven assessment of current digital communications and by testing new ideas.
  • Manage our digital business card program.
  • Complete the creation of custom pages for event giveaways.
  • Coordinate and support the execution of other marketing and communications tactics as needed.
  • Write and edit content for multiple external communications channels including websites, emails, social media, reports and others as needed.
  • Partner with marketing team members to review content.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of post‑secondary degree in communications, marketing, journalism or related area; combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Minimum of three years experience writing, editing and copywriting experience.
  • Minimum of three years in digital strategy planning and execution.
  • Deep understanding of LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and other social media are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently develop engaging high‑quality content across multiple platforms.
  • Proven experience in implementing engaging online solutions for large audiences.
  • Strong writing skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to secure the cooperation and respect of business partners and the project team members. These skills must include strong oral and written communication skills as well as a high degree of tact, diplomacy and persuasiveness.
  • High level of attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience with Google Analytics considered an asset.
  • Experience with Sprout or Hootsuite.
  • Experience with Canva programs.
  • Experienced in wide range of digital tools including intranets, websites, media monitoring and social media management.
  • Experience with digital newsletter strategy is an asset.
