Job summary

The Specialist, Web and Visual Design at the YMCA of Lethbridge designs, develops, and maintains the Association website and digital marketing tools, creating visual assets that align with brand standards.

This full-time role collaborates with Marketing & Communications, produces print and digital content, manages photo and video assets, and ensures privacy, accessibility, and licensing compliance. Benefits include a complimentary membership, pension plan, and health and dental coverage.

Qualifications

• Certificate program in Graphic Design, Multi-Media, Advertising or equivalent.
• Considerable knowledge in marketing principles and best practices.
• Intermediate to expert knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite programs, Adobe, and other web and design tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the YMCA website and digital marketing tools.
• Create content for print and digital marketing and communications, including posters, brochures, banners, and social media assets.
• Plan, capture, edit, manage, and utilize photo and video content from Association initiatives.
• Produce short-form video content, including planning, filming, editing, and basic motion graphics.
• Ensure ongoing compliance including privacy, licensing, accessibility standards, records retention, and consent requirements.
• Collaborate with Marketing & Communications team and vendors to execute campaigns and projects.
