We’re looking for a freelance Digital Content Creator to help us tell our story visually and creatively across social media and marketing channels.

About the Role

This is a freelance contract opportunity — ideal for a creative professional who thrives on autonomy and collaboration. You’ll work directly with our CEO and freelance marketing director to plan, shoot, and produce digital content that captures the quality, craftsmanship, and values behind the Electrilogix brand.

Your focus will be on creating authentic, engaging content that promotes our services, showcases our projects, and reflects the pride we take in our work.

What You’ll Do

• Work collaboratively with our Freelance Marketing Director
• Capture and edit photos and videos of projects, installations, and team activities.
• Create social media content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.
• Collaborate with leadership to plan monthly content calendars and campaigns.
• Develop creative concepts that help communicate our expertise and professionalism in automation and EV‑charging.
• Ensure all visuals and messaging are consistent with brand standards and tone.
• Use AI tools strategically (not as a substitute for understanding) — to enhance storytelling, captions, or creative production workflows.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in photo, video, and social content creation.
• Ability to film and edit short‑form content (Reels, Stories, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
• Strong understanding of branding, storytelling, and visual composition.
• Willingness to learn and understand the electrical / automation industry.
• Experience using AI tools in a creative, ethical, and context‑aware manner.
• Access to your own camera and editing tools (preferred).
• Organized, communicative, and reliable — able to meet deadlines and work collaboratively with a small team.

Contract Details

• This is a freelance contract, not an offer of employment.
• Compensation: Project‑based or hourly, depending on experience and scope.
• Expected workload: Part‑time, ongoing collaboration with flexible scheduling.
• Location: Waterloo Region and surrounding areas (some on‑site shooting required).
