Job description

As part of the Arc’teryx Brand Marketing Team, the Digital Asset Co-Op Student will support the migration and curation of digital assets onto the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system and Digital Archive. Responsibilities include providing reporting, archival, administrative, and communication support for the Brand Archivist and Digital Asset and Systems Manager.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, process-driven, and highly motivated, with a passion for managing digital assets and workflows. You should enjoy collaboration and proactively understanding and anticipating the needs of the business. This role significantly impacts market penetration and outreach efforts for the Arc’teryx brand.

The Digital Asset Management and Digital Archive teams preserve Arc’teryx’s visual history, centralize assets, and promote cross-functional collaboration. Our goal is to create a reliable ecosystem that supports brand outreach and market penetration.

Core Activities:
  • Work with the DAM team to track brand marketing timelines and asset deliveries
  • Create reports on asset ingestion and enrichment
  • Support meetings by taking minutes and contributing to discussions
  • Assist the Brand Archivist in cataloging, tracking, and relocating products and gear
  • Support shipping and tracking of products, gear, and hard drives
What You Will Learn:
  • Understanding of Arc’teryx metadata standards and enrichment techniques
  • Relationships within the DAM and Archive ecosystem and their impact on end users
Are You Our Next Digital Asset Co-Op Student?
  • Enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies in Marketing, Finance, Broadcasting, or a related field
  • 1+ years experience in DAM, librarian, content management, or media roles
  • Knowledge of cloud storage systems like BOX and asset management platforms
  • Proficient in documentation and presentation development for stakeholders
  • Understanding of various digital media types and metadata application
  • Strong networking, collaboration, organization, and communication skills
  • Motivated, detail-oriented, with analytical and problem-solving skills
