Job description

Headquarteredin Torontoand with teammembersacross the US, Open Farm is one of the fastest growing CPG companies in North America. We believe that the best foods are made with consciously sourced, top-quality ingredients from farmers and fisheries who believe in doinggood for all animals and the environment.

As Digital Analyst, you will own the tracking, data and reporting that power our digital marketing and ecommerce performance. You will work closely with Growth, Media, CRM and Finance teams to make sure our data is accurate and our dashboards are trusted, and to turn customer and campaign data into insights that guide key business decisions.

This is a role for someone with a sharp mathematical mind and a strong digital background. You will build and maintain the tracking, pipelines and dashboards behind our acquisition, retention and lifetime value reporting, and you will act as the link between marketing and Finance on the numbers. You will play a critical part in building our in house analytics capabilities as we continue to grow.

In this role you will:
  • Build and maintain tracking and measurement across our digital channels, including pixels, UTMs and attribution alignment.
  • Design, build and maintain data pipelines that reliably feed our analytics infrastructure, including data from Snowflake.
  • Develop and optimize dashboards in Looker, Tableau or similar tools to surface marketing and ecommerce KPIs for leadership, Growth, Finance and Operations teams.
  • Own end to end customer reporting across acquisition, retention and lifetime value (LTV).
  • Analyze performance through cohorts built by acquisition period, subscriber status and entry product category.
  • Track and report on CAC, LTV and LTV to CAC to evaluate marketing efficiency and long term ROI.
  • Partner with Finance to build revenue and customer models, including cohort analysis and unit economics.
  • Lead sales and customer forecasting efforts, owning the accuracy and documentation of forecasts.
  • Partner with the Media team to ensure accurate performance data and clear measurement of paid channels.
  • Use AI to bring efficiencies to reporting and uncover actionable insights.
  • Translate complex data into clear business narratives for technical and non technical stakeholders.
We’re genuinely excited about you because you have:
  • 3 to 6 years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence or a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science or economics.
  • Experience building dashboards for marketing or ecommerce performance in Looker, Tableau or a similar BI platform.
  • A strong understanding of digital tracking, including pixels, tags and attribution.
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining data pipelines using SQL, ETL tools or cloud platforms.
  • Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write complex queries.
  • A solid grasp of CAC, LTV and LTV to CAC, along with cohort analysis and unit economics.
  • Experience in ecommerce, SaaS or subscription business models is an asset.
  • Familiarity with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery or Redshift is an asset.
  • Experience with Python, R or other scripting languages is an asset.
  • A track record of working with Finance, Product and Operations teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain insights clearly to non technical stakeholders.
  • A self directed, detail oriented approach with a passion for data quality and accuracy.
  • Comfort working in a fast paced ecommerce environment.
What we offer you - it's the perfect package:
  • An opportunity to grow, develop, and thrive within a mission-driven, dynamic, and fast-growing company, alongside thoughtful and passionate individuals dedicated to their work and community
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage and RRSP plans with company match
  • Great office culture (with lots of adorablepets!) where your pet interrupting video calls or in-person meeting is the norm
  • Discounted food, apparel and insurance for your furry family members
  • In addition to your PTO, we offer company-wide wellness days and personal days to support your wellbeing
  • Volunteer days to give back to our community
Compensation:

The hiring range for this role is $80,000–$100,000 CAD annually, with final compensation thoughtfully aligned to your experience, skills, and the value you bring. At Open Farm, we know great people don’t always fit a mold, so role scope and compensation may evolve to reflect your unique strengths. This position may also include additional rewards such as performance-based bonuses and other incentives. We believe in growing together through a pay-for-performance approach that recognizes impact over time. Beyond compensation, we’re proud to offer a comprehensive benefits and perks package designed to support your well-being and help you feel connected, supported, and inspired at work.
