This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting‑edge quantum technologies in sensing, communication, and computation. The candidate will advance the development of massively‑scalable real‑time digital‑analog controllers.

As a Digital‑Analog Electrical Engineer, you will collaborate with other team members and achieve technical milestones under the guidance of senior leaders. Job duties include the design, implementation, and validation of mixed‑signal electronic printed circuit board (PCB) used for quantum prototypes and laboratory experiments. This may include applications such as real‑time microcontroller design, field‑programmable gate array, and clock synchronization of quantum hardware for quantum sensing, communication, and computation.

Responsibilities
  • Apply different aspects of digital/analog hardware design under the supervision of a technical leader.
  • Convert board‑level requirements into a board‑design concept (architecture, I/O, key parts, power dissipation, software, firmware).
  • Finalize functional concept and facilitate integration with the hardware team.
  • Complete schematic design.
  • Identify technology and design risks.
  • Manage design layout constraints, part placement and layout review, manufacturing and assembly drawing.
  • Oversee parts management including long‑lead items, complete BOM, and ensure part qualifications.
  • Perform SPICE circuit simulation and other design analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional R&D teams.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years professional experience in designing digital/analog, and mixed‑signal circuits.
Skills
  • Extensive understanding of electronic circuits and communication protocols with PCB design experience.
  • Knowledgeable about PCB manufacturing processes.
  • Good laboratory knowledge with electronic circuits and laboratory instruments such as oscilloscope, network and spectrum analyzer, arbitrary waveform generator.
  • Exposure to RF design, signal processing, and high‑speed & low‑noise analog circuit design.
  • Strong attention to detail, authenticity, and a sense of responsibility in all tasks.
  • Critical thinking and problem‑solving mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
Benefits
  • Extended health care benefits (inc. dental and vision).
  • Life insurance.
