Qualifications

- Food Handler Training Certificate is required.
- Completed Food Service Worker Certificate required or evidence of enrollment in the Food Service Worker Certificate program at time of application with a commitment to complete within two years.
- Knowledge of Best Practices for Prevention and Control of Infection in Health Care Settings.
- Experience with food handling in institutional kitchens required or LTC an asset.
Responsibilities
- Assists the Cook in meal preparation and service.
- Responsible for kitchen cleaning and stocking.
- Maintains dish room cleanliness.
